This scholarship fund is established by the American Association of University Women, Wythe County Branch. This fund will not earn interest; instead, the fund will be used to provide scholarships or textbook stipends to deserving Wytheville Community College students.
Recipients must meet the following criteria:
- Reside in Wythe County for two years prior to graduation from Wytheville Community College
- Plan to transfer to a four-year college or university
- Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA
- Qualify as a non-traditional student
The Wytheville Community College Educational Foundation, Inc. will receive and manage these funds. The funds will be dispensed by the Board of Directors of the Wytheville Community College Educational Foundation to the Wytheville Community College Financial Aid Committee which will select the scholarship recipient based on the established criteria. Scholarship funds will be sent to the college or university.
